Considerations went into the composition: The chronometer-certified watch is a true masterpiece and the piece of music to go with it should sound like one. The watch case is made of ceramic. The movement is also something special and was a revolution in watchmaking when it was introduced in 1999. It is a Co-Axial escapement. This design ensures greater precision over a longer period of time and a more stable power reserve.
When I was composing the short orchestral piece for the commercial, words such as dark, solid, robust, enduring and precise, as well as powerful, strong, sporty and resilient came to my mind. This watch is a real top athlete for your wrist.
Please note: the piece of music was not commissioned by Omega. It is a demo. Omega Watches Switzerland was not involved in this project. This demo will give you an impression of my musical abilities.
