Music has been part of my life since I was born. My mum had a piano at home and I grew up with classical music. I either listened to music on my parents' record player or sang or played it myself. My mum and my brother learnt the piano, I learnt to play the violin at the age of 7 and taught myself a few chords on the piano. At the age of 13, I was fascinated by the guitar. I can still remember the day I decided to learn the guitar. A friend's father received the film ‘Live at Wembley 1986’ by Queen as a birthday present. When I saw Brian May at Wembley Stadium and heard his unique sound, I was hooked: I wanted to learn the guitar. This was followed by years of self-taught learning and with teachers, various bands I played in and at some point I started recording and producing music myself. This love of music has always been there and I hope that the ability to make music will be with me for the rest of my life.
