Light Up The Night

This song is a direct reflection of my current stage in life and therefore a very personal message that I keep sending to my loved one, asking her if she can help me dispel my dark thoughts and get back on my feet. And that’s exactly what she does. It doesn’t take much. Sometimes just being there, spending time together, is enough. I wish everyone could have that one person in their life who is there for them and vice versa. Not only when things are going badly. But true friendship is recognized when you are really struggling. That’s why this song is also a thank you to my partner: Thank you so much for being there and lighting up the night for me when it’s particularly dark. I hope that I can be that light for you too.
