There’s one thing I particularly like about the U.S. compared to my home country, Germany: it’s the ability many people have to think big. To be courageous, to start something new, even when the odds are stacked against them. To fail, get back up, and try again. To have a dream and make it a reality. And if it doesn’t work out: to try again.
Unfortunately, I grew up very differently. In my childhood, avoiding risk was valued more than trying things out, taking risks, and venturing into the unknown.
Daring to dream big had a rather negative connotation. But fortunately, over the years, I’ve managed to shake that off as much as possible.
Today, I dream and put my dreams and ideas into action. I like to dream big and try out ideas.
That’s why I composed this instrumental song.
For all the brave ones, for all the dreamers, for everyone who dares to do something, no matter what those around them say.
